Home Health Care Books, a division of ShearLearn Global LLC, was founded to fill a need for solid, reliable information when a loved one becomes seriously ill or needs in-home care. To guide the caregiver through the maze, and provide the health care solutions, home care products, and resources you need for your particular health care and caregiving situation. Our team is made up of professional writers, educators, and experienced family caregivers, backed by skilled medical and technical personnel. It’s a tightly integrated team that uses the expertise of its members to the best advantage in each and every project - with solutions to your health and caregiving needs as the sole focus. Reducing caregiver stress is another important aspect, as we know firsthand the caregiver burdens and challenges, and the reality of caregiver burnout. We are here to help! Terri Shearer is the Founder of HomeHealthCareBooks.com, with more than 20 years experience in the education and technology fields. Terri founded Shearer Technologies in 1996, which evolved into ShearTech Advantage in 2001, and finally ShearLearn Global in 2003. Her interest in providing health care in the home was spurred by her own experiences as a care giver to two members of her immediate family. In the course of this experience, Terri discovered rather quickly that some very basic information is sometimes the most difficult to find, and, with her skills as an educator, set about changing the field.
