It is serious and relentless. وهي خطيرة وبلا هوادة. As a student nurse I dreaded psychiatric rotation because I felt helpless. كما طالب ممرضة التناوب الاول للطب النفسي المخيف لانني شعرت عاجز. I did not know how to help them. لم أكن أعرف كيفية مساعدتهم. The unit was scary to me and such a sad, sad place.We had a three week rotation through psychiatric. الوحدة مخيف بالنسبة لي وهذا حزين ، حزين place.we كان ثلاثة في الأسبوع للطب النفسي عن طريق التناوب. Our instructor would allow us to choose which patient we wanted to have for the day. لدينا مدرب من شأنه ان يتيح لنا اختيار المريض الذي اردنا ان يكون لهذا اليوم. We would listen to the night nurse give report and then we were to choose a patient, develop a care plan and carry out the interventions.I was usually still sitting in the nurse’s report room after everyone else had picked their patients. ونود ان نستمع الى تقرير اعطاء الممرضه ليلة وبعد ذلك تم اختيار المريض ، ووضع خطة الرعايه والقيام interventions.i عادة كانت لا تزال جالسة في غرفة الممرضه بعد تقرير اي شخص اخر استأنف نشاطه مرضاهم. I didn’t want any of them. لم أكن أريد أي منها. Not that I didn’t have compassion for them, I did, maybe too much to be objective. الا انني لم أكن قد والرحمه لهم ، وفعلت ذلك ، ربما اكثر من اللازم على ان تكون موضوعية. I just felt so inadequate to be able to help them. انا فقط غير كافية لذلك راى انه قادر على تقديم المساعدة لهم. From a team nursing approach we worked together to plan activities for the patients. من فريق التمريض نهج اننا نعمل معا من اجل تخطيط انشطه المرضى. That wasn’t so bad because we did this as a team. ان لم يكن ذلك بسبب سوء فعلنا ذلك كفريق واحد. It was Easter time. وكان الوقت عيد الفصح. We had planned an Easter activity for the patients and worked on it for a week. ونحن قد خططت لعيد الفصح النشاط المرضى وعملت على انها لمدة اسبوع. The day arrived for the Easter Celebration. اليوم وصلت لاحتفال عيد الفصح. The weather was a perfect Alabama spring day. كان الطقس مثاليا الاباما ربيع اليوم. The courtyard trees and flowers were blooming and decorated festively. باحه الاشجار والزهور والتفتح وكانت مزينه بشكل بهيج. It was a perfect day for an Easter Egg Hunt and a picnic. وكان مثاليا في اليوم لعيد الفصح والبيض هانت نزهة. The ones that were able to attend were excited and ready to spend some time outside.We had arrived early before the patients were out of their rooms and hid the eggs. تلك التي استطاعت ان حضور بالاثاره وكانت على استعداد لقضاء بعض الوقت outside.we قد وصلت في وقت مبكر قبل المرضى على الخروج من الغرف وحجبا البيض. We had made eight dozen eggs so that everyone could find several. كانت لدينا ثماني عشرة والبيض بحيث يحصل كل فرد يمكن ان تجد عدة. We planned on using the eggs to make egg salad for the picnic. ونحن المخطط على استخدام البيض لجعل سلطة البيض للنزهة. We hid eggs behind bushes and rocks, under flowers and in trees. نحن والبيض واختبأ وراء الصخور والشجيرات ، في اطار والازهار والاشجار. There was one tree that had two branches that formed a y—a great place for an egg. وكان هناك شجرة واحدة ان كان في كل فرع من الفروع التي شكلت is - مكان عظيم للبيضة. The hunt began and the patients scurried around finding eggs and filling their baskets. وبدأت مطاردة المرضى scurried حول العثور على تلبية احتياجات والبيض والسلال. I noticed one lady who had not found any eggs. لاحظت سيدة واحدة من لم يجد أي بيض. She was a little confused and becoming agitated. وقالت انها بشيء من الارتباك واصبح تحريكها. I tried to help direct her to where the eggs were.She was standing under the tree saying, “I just can’t find any eggs, I just can’t find any. حاولت ان تساعد على توجيه لها البيض were.she حيث كان يقف تحت شجرة وقال "أنا فقط لا يمكن العثور على أي البيض ، أنا فقط لا يمكن العثور على أي. What am I going to do? ما فهل أنا بصدد القيام به؟ I just cannot find any eggs, everyone else has eggs, I don’t have any eggs!!”All of a sudden the egg we hid in the Y of the tree fell out and hit her right on the top of her head.She picked it up and with a huge smile on her face, she said, “Hey look, I found an egg.”She laughed and we laughed. أنا فقط لا يمكن العثور على أي البيض ، والجميع قد والبيض وليس لدي اي البيض! It was a happy day. كان يوما سعيدا. She got to keep her egg. وقالت انها حصلت على ابقاء البيض لها. Dear Lord, Thank You for the gift of laughter, especially when we can laugh at ourselves. ايها الرب ، شكرا على الهدية من الضحك ، وخصوصا عندما يمكننا ان تضحك على انفسنا. Thank You for the joy You put in our hearts. شكرا لكم لوضع الفرح في قلوبنا.
