Stories of my friend’s adorable grandmother with Dementia really had me bursting into refreshing laughter. قصص من صديقي adorable الجدة مع الخرف لي حقا قد تجدد الانفجار الى الضحك. “The Fashion Plate.” No, there was no problem getting her to change her clothes . "لوحة الازياء." لا ، لا تكون هناك مشكلة للوصول اليها لتغيير ملابسها. . . . . but she refused to wear her OWN clothes! الا انها رفضت ارتداء ملابس بلدها! (They were too nice, you know.) So she would take one piece of clothing from each of the other family members - the father of the house, mother, son, daughters . (كانت لطيفة جدا ، انت تعرف.) فستعتبر حتى قطعة واحدة من الملابس من كل واحد من افراد الاسرة الآخرين -- الاب من المنزل ، او الام او الابن او الابنه. . . . . Quite a sight! لا بأس به البصر! Especially when she was trying to cinch in the tall father’s trousers and wear over-sized shoes. لا سيما عندما كانت تحاول حزام السرج في تال الاب السراويل والملابس والاحذيه اكثر من الحجم. (Grandmother was the only little person in the house.) Then she would walk around and fuss at everyone else, saying they didn’t know how to dress! (الجدة وكان الشخص الوحيد الذي يذكر في المنزل.) ثم قالت انها والسير نحو كل شخص آخر في الاهتمام ، واعتبر انها لا تعرف كيف اللباس! Then there was the time Grandma - a nondrinker - found an unopened bottle of Gin. وبعد ذلك هناك في الوقت الجدة -- nondrinker -- فتحها تم العثور على زجاجة جن. Her middle-aged son had come home from work and put a new bottle of Gin on the kitchen counter. هي في منتصف العمر الابن قد حان من العمل الى المنزل ووضع زجاجة جديدة من الجن على مواجهة المطبخ. Then he went back out to take care of a few things. ثم عاد الى العنايه ببعض الامور. Upon returning exhausted and stressed, he went to fix a cocktail only to find the bottle still on the counter . ولدى عودة وشدد استنفدت ، وذهب الى حفل كوكتيل فيكس فقط للعثور على الزجاجه لا تزال على لجنة مكافحة الارهاب. . . . . but empty. ولكنها فارغه. He asked his wife if she drank it. وسأل زوجته اذا شرب. He asked great-grandmother if she drank it. وتساءل كبير إذا كانت الجدة - شرب. He asked his grown daughter if she drank it. وقال انه طلب مزيدا من ابنه اذا نمت شرب. None of them had. “That leaves the sink and Grandma. ان ايا منهم لم ". بالوعه ان يترك والجدة. Let’s hope it’s the sink!” دعونا نأمل انه المصارف! " He walked into Grandma’s bedroom and found her looking pretty loopy with a clear glass in her hand. “Oh, no. وقال انه للتجول في غرفة نوم الجدة وجدت لها loopy جميلة تبحث مع الزجاج واضحة في يدها. "أوه ، لا. Oh, Mama, you didn’t!” was all he could say. أوه ، امي ، انت لا! "وكان كل ما في وسعه القول. “That was very, very good water. "ان ذلك كان جدا جدا من ادارة جيدة للمياه. You should get more. يجب عليك الحصول على المزيد. I was very thirsty, so I drank it all.” “That was funny water. وأنا عطشان جدا ، حتى ان اشرب جميع "." ان ذلك كان مضحكا المياه. It never had this effect on me before.” أبدا أنه كان لي تأثير على هذا من قبل. " Then she added curiously, ثم اضافت الغريب
He just kept stammering, “Oh, no . انه فقط ابقاء التلعثم ، "أوه ، لا. . . . . Oh, no . أوه ، لا. . . . . Oh, no, no, no . أوه ، لا ، لا ، لا. . . .” ". As cognitive function diminishes, it CAN be very funny at times. كما يقلل الوظيفة المعرفيه ، فإنه يمكن مضحك جدا في بعض الاحيان. And you NEED to laugh! وانت بحاجة إلى الضحك! But it can be dangerous, too. ولكنها يمكن ان تكون خطيرة ايضا. Needless to say, Grandma was quite sick . وغني عن القول ان الجدة مريضة جدا. . . . . and the family locked away ammonia, cleansers, and every other thing Grandma might confuse. والاسرة مغلق بعيدا الامونيا ، والمطهرات ، وغيرها من كل شيء يمكن ان نخلط بين الجدة. After all, worse than a toddler, she could reach into cabinets! على كل حال ، أسوأ من طفل ، وقالت انها يمكن ان تصل الى خزانات! Yet another friend tells tales of her mother’s antics as Dementia was setting in - especially her obsession with hoarding “little restaurant butters.” Paranoia, fear of loss, and hoarding are very common with Dementia victims. صديق آخر من يروي الحكايات والطرائف امها الخرف كما كان في تحديد -- وخاصة مع تكدس هي هاجس "مطعم قليلا يدهن بالزبد." الذعر ، والخوف من الخسارة ، وتكدس شاءعه جدا مع ضحايا الخرف. And some of the stories surrounding these are hilarious! وبعض من هذه القصص المحيطة فرحان! Imagine the expressions on the faces of casual observers as that mother chased my friend down the street. She had just discovered that my friend had cleaned out storage and refrigerator areas that were loaded to overflowing with aging “little butters!” تخيل التعابير على وجوه العارضه كما ان المراقبين لاحقت صديقي آلام أسفل الشارع. عادلة وقالت انها اكتشفت ان صديقي قد وتخزينها وتنظيفها من اصل الثلاجه المناطق التي تم تحميلها الى فيضان مع الشيخوخة "قليلا يدهن بالزبد!" My mother? She hoarded little shampoos from her travels. أمي؟ انها مكتنز قليلا من الشامبو يسافر إليها. They became one of her obsessions as Dementia set in. And they were all over the place on her bathroom counter, in its drawers and cabinets and shelves, making it hard to dust or to find more important things. واصبحت واحدا من الهواجس ما فيه مجموعة العته وكانوا في كل ارجاء المكان على حمام مضادة لها ، في ادراج وخزائن ورفوف ، مما يجعل من الصعب الغبار او للعثور على مزيد من الاشياء الهامة. Boy, what an angry lecture she gave my sister for getting rid of some of the dried-up ones cluttering her bathroom! “Madder than a red hen…” فتى ، ما غاضب محاضرة القتها اختي للتخلص من بعض من المجففه منها - حتى التبعثر لها الحمام! "ألفوه من الدجاجه حمراء…" Do you have a hoarding story? هل لديك تكدس القصة؟ Bathing story? الاستحمام القصة؟ Cleaning story? تنظيف القصة؟ Other? اخرى؟ Surely, if you have cared for an elderly person with Alzheimer’s or Dementia, you have tried to do what was necessary only to be countered with: “We don’t do it that way!” We can identify. بالتأكيد ، اذا كان لديك الرعايه لشخص مسن مع مرض الزهايمر أو الخرف ، لقد حاولت ان تفعل ما هو ضروري فقط لمواجهته مع : "نحن لا نفعل ذلك وبهذه الطريقة!" نستطيع ان نحدد. So how about sharing so we can all have a momentary break with a chuckle! فكيف عن تقاسم حتى يمكننا جميعا ان يكون لها فترة انقطاع مؤقت مع الضحكه الخافته!
