With Swine Flu ready to creep back into our lives, let’s hope the flu does not become a pandemic. If you are caring for a loved one, you’re probably wondering about flu shots this year. A nurse just told me to definitely get the regular flu shot, if you haven’t had a pneumonia shot or pneumonia vaccine within the last 10 years, get one of those. If you are able to get the swine flu vaccine when it becomes available, then perhaps you might consider it. I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do yet — I just get concerned when something like the swine flu vaccine get manufactured so quickly and with so little human testing.
Perhaps the best thing we can do is work from home if possible, stay away from crowds whenever possible, and to wash your hands.
